Meet The Team
After starting a career in nursing with experience largely in mental health and critical care, he earned a master’s degree in nursing from Westminster College. He has been practicing in the Salt Lake Valley in primary care since 2013. Austin continues to work at the Neuropsychiatric Institute as an advanced practice clinician. In 2015, he began working full time in family practice at Summit Primary Care.
Mark graduated from Idaho State University with a Master’s of Science in Nursing in 2011. He is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the AANP, and is a member of the American College Health Association. After graduation, he joined the National Health Service Corp with a desire to provide healthcare to under-served populations. He spent a year in an urban clinic in Chicago providing primary care and developing a house calls program.
After leaving Chicago, Mark spent 2 years in the rural community of Show Low Arizona, where he provided full family practice and community based mental health care. After his time with the Service Corp, he moved back to Utah to be closer to family. Mark spent 2 years managing the student health clinic at Salt Lake Community College’s Center for Health & Counseling. He has provided care in the areas of family practice, preventative medicine, women’s health, house calls, hospice and mental health. His most fulfilling and challenging work has been building this practice with his brother Austin.
Nathan graduated from the University of Utah with a Doctorate of Nursing Practice in 2020. During his graduate studies, he was accepted into the first cohort of Area Health Education Centers (AHEC) Scholars. As an AHEC Scholar, he participated in further training to care for underserved and at-risk populations in Utah. Nathan is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the AANP. He has served on the Utah Nurse Practitioners Legislative Committee working toward legislative change supporting access to care for patients and professional practice for nurse practitioners in Utah. He joined Summit Primary Care as a provider in 2021.
Ms. Blair joined our team in July 2018 as our office manager. Ms. Blair attended South Plains College and Texas Tech University. Ms. Blair has been in the healthcare field over 25 years; with prior certifications in billing and coding as well as HIPPA. Ms. Blair enjoys being in the healthcare field and being a part of team where patient care comes first.
